Refund, Cancellation & Chargeback Policy

At Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC, our goal is to provide exceptional professional services, educational training, and community programs with integrity, professionalism, and transparency. Please read this Refund, Cancellation & Chargeback Policy carefully before scheduling an appointment, registering for a class or workshop, or submitting payment.

By scheduling an appointment, registering for a class or workshop, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this policy.

General Payment Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

• Payment is required before services are rendered unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.

• Registration and appointments are not confirmed until payment has been received.

• Fees cover administrative costs, scheduling, instructor preparation, travel (when applicable), educational materials, and professional services.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS & Babysitter Training

Community Awareness Classes

Community Awareness Classes offered through She Fought for Them Foundation are provided free of charge to educate the community on CPR, emergency preparedness, Naloxone (Narcan) awareness, and other lifesaving skills.

Unless otherwise stated, these educational classes do not include certification through the American Red Cross, American Heart Association (AHA), or HSI.

Participants who cannot attend are encouraged to notify us as soon as possible so their seat may be offered to another participant.

American Red Cross Certification Classes

Registration fees reserve your seat in a scheduled class.

Once your registration has been confirmed and/or your American Red Cross online course has been assigned, registration fees are non-refundable.

Participants who provide at least 48 hours' notice before class may request one complimentary transfer to another available class within 90 days, subject to availability.

Only one transfer is permitted per registration.

Blended Learning Courses

Participants enrolled in blended learning courses through the American Red Cross, American Heart Association (AHA), or HSI must successfully complete all required online coursework before attending the instructor-led skills session.

Failure to complete the online coursework before class may require rescheduling.

No refunds will be issued for incomplete online coursework.

Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC cannot resolve technical issues within the certifying organization's online learning platform. Participants experiencing technical difficulties must contact the appropriate technical support provider.

Late Arrival

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled class.

Participants arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled class start time may not be admitted because required course instruction cannot be missed.

Late arrivals may be required to reschedule.

Late arrivals are not eligible for refunds.

No-Shows

Participants who fail to attend their scheduled class without prior notice are considered No-Shows.

No refunds will be issued.

Illinois Notary Public Workshop

Our Illinois Notary Public Workshop is designed to educate individuals on the requirements, responsibilities, and application process for becoming an Illinois Notary Public.

Registration Fee

Workshop Fee: $10.00 per participant

Registration is confirmed once payment has been received.

The workshop fee includes instructor-led instruction, educational materials, and guidance on becoming an Illinois Notary Public.

Workshop fees are non-refundable.

Participants providing at least 48 hours' notice may reschedule one time at no additional charge, subject to availability.

Completion of this workshop does not guarantee appointment or commission by the Illinois Secretary of State.

Customer Cancellations

Workshop registration fees are non-refundable.

Participants providing at least 48 hours' notice may reschedule one time at no additional charge, subject to availability.

Only one complimentary reschedule is permitted.

Participants who fail to attend without notice forfeit their registration fee.

Workshop Disclaimer

Completion of this workshop does not appoint or commission you as an Illinois Notary Public.

Participants are responsible for completing all requirements established by the Illinois Secretary of State, including application submission, eligibility requirements, applicable state fees, and any required surety bond.

Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC cannot guarantee approval by the Illinois Secretary of State.

Mobile & Electronic Notary Services

Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC proudly offers professional Mobile and Electronic Notary Services throughout Illinois.

Travel Fees

Illinois law establishes the maximum fee that may be charged for notarial acts.

Additional travel fees may apply for mobile appointments based on distance, appointment location, after-hours scheduling, or other travel-related expenses.

Travel fees are separate from state-authorized notary fees.

Please contact us for current travel pricing before scheduling an appointment.

Notary Fees

Fees for notarial acts are charged in accordance with Illinois law.

Additional mobile travel fees may apply depending on your location, distance traveled, appointment time, or after-hours service.

Please call for current notary pricing and travel fee estimates.

Payment

Payment is due at the time services are provided unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Appointment Cancellations

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Once travel has begun, travel fees are non-refundable.

Completed Notarial Acts

Once a notarial act has been completed, all notary fees are non-refundable.

If notarization cannot be completed because:

• Acceptable identification is not provided

• Documents are incomplete

• Illinois law prohibits the notarization

• The signer refuses to sign

• The signer appears unwilling or unable to proceed

Applicable travel and administrative fees may still apply.

Course Completion & Certification

Certification is awarded only after participants successfully complete all course requirements established by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association (AHA), or HSI.

Requirements may include:

• Completion of blended learning (when applicable)

• Written assessments

• Hands-on skills evaluations

• Attendance requirements

Registration and payment do not guarantee certification.

If a participant does not successfully complete all required course components, certification cannot be issued.

When permitted by the certifying organization, remediation may be offered during the scheduled class.

Participants who do not successfully complete certification requirements may be required to register and pay for another class before attempting certification again.

Community Programs & Educational Workshops

Educational workshops, literacy programs, mentoring events, caregiver education, and community outreach programs may be offered free of charge or at a stated registration fee.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Registration fees are non-refundable.

• Participants providing at least 48 hours' notice may reschedule one time, subject to availability.

• No-Shows are not eligible for refunds.

Customer Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel your appointment, class, or workshop, please notify us as soon as possible.

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before a scheduled class or workshop may be rescheduled one (1) time at no additional charge, subject to availability.

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are generally not eligible for a refund, but rescheduling may be considered at the discretion of Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC.

• Only one complimentary reschedule is permitted per registration or appointment.

• Additional rescheduling requests may require a new registration fee.

• No-Shows are not eligible for refunds or complimentary rescheduling.

Business-Initiated Cancellations

Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to:

• Severe weather

• Instructor illness

• Low enrollment

• Facility closures

• Equipment failure

• Emergencies

• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC cancels a paid class, workshop, appointment, or service, customers may choose to:

• Reschedule to another available date at no additional cost; or

• Receive a full refund to the original method of payment.

If a customer chooses to reschedule, any payment already made will be applied to the new appointment or class.

Chargeback Policy

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that your payment reserves a scheduled appointment, class, workshop, or professional service and covers administrative processing, scheduling, instructor preparation, travel (when applicable), educational materials, and other business expenses.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for services that have already been provided or made available, including but not limited to:

• Appointment reservations

• Class registrations

• Workshop registrations

• Administrative processing

• Instructor preparation

• Mobile travel

• Assignment of American Red Cross online coursework

• Educational materials

• Attendance at training or workshops

• Completion of professional services

• Certification issued upon successful completion

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC reserves the right to provide supporting documentation to the payment processor or financial institution, including:

• Registration forms

• Signed waivers and agreements

• Payment confirmations

• Attendance records

• Appointment records

• Email and text communications

• American Red Cross course assignment records

• Certification records

• Workshop attendance records

• Any additional documentation demonstrating services were provided.

Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks may result in:

• Cancellation of future appointments or registrations

• Recovery of unpaid fees

• Administrative costs

• Collection expenses

• Court costs and attorney's fees where permitted by law

• Any other remedies available under applicable law

• Assignment of American Red Cross online coursework

• Assignment of American Heart Association (AHA) online coursework

• Assignment of HSI online coursework

• Instructor preparation

• Classroom instruction

• Hands-on skills sessions

• Digital certification cards

• Illinois Notary Public Workshops

• Community education workshops

Group Training

Private group training is available for:

• Businesses

• Schools

• Churches

• Childcare Centers

• Healthcare Facilities

• Community Organizations

Group training requires:

• Minimum of 5 participants

• Maximum of 12 participants per instructor

Additional instructors may be required for larger groups.

Travel fees may apply for on-site training.

Custom pricing is available upon request.
